KinKi Kids 45th Single “Amazing Love”

It has been some sort of chaos since last evening when they first played the new song from KinKi Kids 45th Single “Amazing Love” on their radio show “donnamonya“. This morning, we were greeted with the official news of this single from various channels.

Given that there are 4 versions in total, I decided to note down the details so that we don’t miss out on the contents.

Some highlights

Up to this point, it’s the usual 3 versions that can be purchased via various online websites. It’s already beyond surprise that we have KinKi Kids writing the lyrics and Yamashita Tatsuro writing the melody of “Amazing Love“. It’s interesting to know that the coupling song “Midnight Rain” is written by Takeuchi Mariya (Yamashita Tatsuro’s wife!) Not to forget that the song “HEART” which is only included in the normal edition is written by KinKi Kids too!

How spoiled are the fans?! But this is not all, because they are giving us a Fan Club Edition too! This version can only be purchased via Johnny’s Online Shop, and only by fan club members!

I was already thinking they will not release this concert that I attended on 1st January in Blu-ray/DVD because they have released the clip for “Anniversary” from this concert as a special reel for Limited Edition B of the previous single “Koujundo Romance“.

Purchase of 1 copy per FC member

The pre-order period of this FC version will be from 22 June to 3 July 2022. There will be a purchase restriction of 1 copy per FC member too. I get a little nervous seeing a note that this version comes in limited quantities, so if the pre-order numbers are reached, the pre-order period will end earlier. WHAT?! Please make sure you look at the FC membership numbers and prepare enough copies!

Besides the new single release, there is also great news of many fans getting their ticket ballots to the upcoming concerts in Osaka and Tokyo. Twitter is beaming with all the happy sharing that I start to wonder if there’s anyone who lost their ballot. I can’t wait for the boys to surprise us with their concert setlist, given that we have also voted for 1 song that we hope for them to sing. I hope they will sing some minor favourites that we voted for. FYI, I gave my vote to “hesitated“, which is a coupling song from their 2007 single “Brand New Song“. I really want them to do some groovy numbers!
